Vietnam Visa Exemption Exchange Of Notes Between Vietnam And Japan
The Exchange of notes was carried out on March 8, 2005 and entered into effect on May 1, 2005. Agreement was signed on November 30, 1979 and entered into effect on the date of its signing. The exemption of visa includes exemption of visa for entry, exit and transit. The duration of stay subject to visa exemption begins from the date of entry. The contents of visa exemption agreed upon between Vietnam and Japan are as follows:
- Exemption of visa is granted to bearers of diplomatic passports or official passports who are assigned to exercise diplomatic or consular function or other official mission of the Government with unlimited stay duration.
- Exemption of visa is granted to bearers of diplomatic passports or official passports assigned for other purposes (excluding the purpose of working, immigration, practice of professional career or other paid jobs) with the stay duration not exceeding 90 days.
